Privacy and data deletion

Google and YouTube data accessed
The application uses YouTube API Services and requests YouTube authorisation only for the channel selected by an authorised operator. It uses that access to upload videos, set and update video metadata and publication status, and delete failed, cancelled or test uploads.
Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
How the data is used
Google user data is used only to provide the publishing functions described on the application home page. It is not sold, used for advertising, credit decisions or unrelated profiling, or shared with data brokers.
Storage and security
OAuth credentials are stored in protected service-side secret storage and are not placed in source control, reports or publication payloads. Operational records retain provider object identifiers, timestamps, requested actions and results needed for delivery, reconciliation and incident recovery. Raw OAuth tokens are excluded from analytical events and content packages.
Human access
Access is restricted to authorised operators and maintainers when needed to operate the publishing feature, investigate a failure or protect the service. The integration is not available to unrelated third parties.
Revocation and deletion
An operator can revoke access at any time from the Google Account permissions page. Revocation stops future API operations. To request deletion of the application's stored OAuth credentials and associated operational records, email info@solowayshub.com with the subject “YouTube data deletion”. The request will be authenticated before deletion. Stored OAuth credentials and YouTube API data associated with the requesting operator will be deleted as soon as possible and within 7 calendar days of the request. Deleting data held by this application does not delete videos or other data held by YouTube; those must be managed through YouTube or an authorised application that supports their deletion.
